Since the start of mobilization:
• There have been over 600 days of handbilling
• Over 50,000 handbills have been distributed
• KGTV has issued over 175 memos attacking the Union
• 4 off-the-record meetings were held at the Union’s request.
KGTV managers leaked information from each of them
• 3 days of contract negotiations took place at the Union’s request.
The sole action from KGTV was to make their initial proposals worse
• The Union has spent about $150,000, most of it on advertising and supplies
• KGTV has spent an estimated $6 million, most of it on legal fees,
lost revenue and lost productivity
• 6 KGTV Managers have made a final exit
• NABET-CWA has been negotiating in good faith
• McGraw-Hill has been Union-busting
